WordPress has a themes feature that is fun to play with. I got tired of messing with the theme that I had installed before now because it had some invisible tables wedged into it for positioning purposes. I tried using the CSS to make it look a little bit different, but I kept running into mysterious results. So I checked out Alex King’s theme browser.

The theme browser is a slick thing. WordPress had a contest. Lots of people submitted themes. There are over a hundred of them for the new version of WordPress. If you go to the theme browser, you can use a dropdown menu to see each one and if you like it you can download it. Then just unzip and drag the file into the themes folder. You’re done, unless you want to customize them a little.

The one I’ve got here is one of the minimal themes. Some of them are wild. Maybe another day…
