Pristine
Summer’s end draws near. Next week I move into a new classroom in a new building. My stuff is all there in heaps waiting for me. There is a lot of work to do organizing things - not unlike clearing raw land for a homestead. So this is what a classroom looks like before it has ever had children in it.
Note the LCD projector installed in the ceiling. This is a huge technological advance for our school district. Ours is the first school in the district to have these as standard classroom equipment.
The rooms are a bit small. I’m going to try teaching without student desks - just small tables and chairs. They’ll store their personal things in individual cubbies/boxes.
