I can't imagine having such few hours of daylight. I fight depression throughout the whole winter and I live in the lower 48 of the U.S. Based on your inspirational entries the darkness doesn't seem to have effected you as much as it would have, me. Happy New Year!!

By the way, check out my "Living Textbook," www.Pass-Ed.com/about.html

Doug, thanks, I finally did this. It was fun, once I figured out who to tag. Happy New Year! - Mark

Wow Doug, I'm glad you were able to keep the dogs from the bear. That's certainly a story worth retelling but one I'm sure you don't care to repeat. Before my wife and I were married we went backpacking in the Tetons and saw a bear go through our camp in the evening after we had hung our bear bag and had left to fill our water bottles. That made her a believer in taking care to not attract bears to our camp through sloppy camping! I really miss the mountains and the opportunity to live in and around wild places and things. Thanks for sharing your list of five things! :-)
