And for now I'll resist temptations to mess with the colors because it takes a long time and I can never predict from the little sample chips how a combination will look spashed all over the place. I'm grateful for your help. I like the layout, but I'm still not convinced I've got the right color scheme - currently "slate gray" - and now that I've found all the relevant code to make changes, I may continue to play with that for a bit. Weather....we're doing well. Light jackets in the morning. Sun's out till 11:00 pm. Not much incentive to sleep anymore. Thanks to all who’ve commented (and may still) here.
